HT Abassi

«Abassi» is a modern Arabic headline face Originally developed as a simplified face, its design recalls the Arabic calligraphy works from the 9th–10th century, which were usually written with ink and gold on parchment.
The strong treatment of some letters gives the traditional style a modern feel to the design and more readability and legibility.
The contrasting proportions of the tall vertical strokes and horizontal strokes lend a monumental look to «Abassi», allowing its effective use in titling.
During the years «Abassi» was developed into an Advanced OpenType typeface, with the addition of many alternate forms like (hah, jeem, khah, reh, zain, ain, ghain, seen, sheen & lam_alef) to improve character readability, spacing, and balance.
«Abassi» produced by HadiType Foundry from 2019 to 2021 and drawn by Mohammed hadi
